The BD BACTEC vials are ready for use as received and require no reconstitution or dilution. Store at 2 25 C in a dry location, out of direct light. For Use With (Equipment) : Bactec 9240, 9120 and 9050 System. Principal use is with the BACTEC fluorescent series instruments for the qualitative culture and recovery of anaerobic microorganisms from blood. Fluorescent series bar-coded blood culture media. Each vial contains a chemical sensor which can detect increases in CO2 produced by the growth of microorganisms
