Safe for use on patients receiving maltose-containing peritoneal dialysis solutions (including icodextrin) and intravenous immunoglobulin preparations. Individually foil-wrapped and barcoded test strips help protect against contamination and reduce the chance of using expired strips. Test starts only when an adequate blood sample is obtained.
